Ronto Wrap
Makes 4 Wraps
For the Slaw:
Coleslaw Mix (pre-shredded)
2 cups Rice Wine Vinegar
1 cup Sugar
1 tsp. Salt
For the Wrap:
4 Slices Pork Loin Chops - Thinly Sliced
Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
Paprika
Dried Thyme
4 Links Pork Sausage with hard casing
White Sauce (store bought or make your own!)
4 Pieces Pita Bread
The Night Before: Dissolve salt and sugar into vinegar and bring to boil with small saucepan
Once dissolved, cool and pour into an air-tight container or glass jar with coleslaw mix
Refrigerate for 6 hours up to overnight
For the Wrap: Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
In an oven-proof dish, place pork chops and rub all with olive oil and mixture of spices and salt & pepper
Roast in oven for 10-15 minutes, then flip over and repeat for another 10-15.
On a grill pan (or skillet) cook sausage to get a crispy skin or grill marks
Heat up pita bread to get grill marks
To Assemble: Top pork chop with sausage in the pita bread, and add white sauce and slaw.
