Thanks-mas Sandwich
Not sure what to do with your piled-up Thanksgiving leftovers? Need to make room for your impending Christmas leftovers? Look no further than the Jolly Holiday Cafe’s Thanks-mas Sandwich! This stacker is truly a gift from the gods. It’s all of your favorite flavors in one smackable sandwich. I had the privilege of making two versions of this: one with turkey breast, the other with ham. I’m gonna have to throw it to the ham for being the better sandwich, but I assure you—you will not be disappointed!
Thanks-mas Sandwich
Makes 2 Sandwiches
4 thick slices of bread (I used a whole wheat)
Turkey breast slices
Honeybaked Ham slices
Cranberry sauce
Gravy
Stuffing (I recommend Bradley the Singing Chef’s Cornbread Stuffing!)
Butter (for toasting)
On a griddle or a hot pan, spread butter on one side of each bread slice, and toast both sides
If you have room in the griddle, add your turkey and ham slices to warm (or use a microwave for 30 seconds)
Assemble you sandwich as follows: gravy and cranberry sauce on each un-butter side, meat, stuffing patty, and sandwich bread slices together
Cut into diagonals and enjoy!
